All too often people base their health simply on if they feel "good" or feel "bad". Feel can be deceiving because someone can feel "good" without realizing their systems are not functioning at full potential. Even more importantly someone can feel "bad" simply because their body is working through some healing/growth phases and doing what it's designed to do, but since there are symptoms actions and interventions are taken that actually inhibit these healthy processes and slow the healing potential.
“While studying the effects of accumulated stress on the nervous system, I began to suspect that most organisms have an innate capacity to rebound from threatening and stressful events. -Peter A. Levine
the big idea...
That photo is the Neurology of your head and neck. These nerves travel from the brain, through a central canal in your spine as the brain stem and spinal cord. These nerves control every function in the body. They are protected by vertebrae, however if one vertebrae moves out of alignment and the central nervous system is interfered with, dysfunction (symptoms: i.e. migraines, asthma, High blood pressure, pain, depression, etc.) can occur. Checking your spine for proper alignment is not just about relieving pain, it's about restoring proper communication and function to the system as a whole. You may be severely limiting your own potential without even knowing it and no one deserves that. When was the last time you had your alignment checked?
